 the makeshifts were started by mike in the capital a few years back as a way to organize the crappy music he made on his computer. slowly, the music got a little better and other people started getting involved. then the internet lent a hand and provided both a new way to showcase the increasingly less crappy music and added new members like duckfisher (who is from belgium).
known at times as global tmd, we have made everything from rock to hip hop beats to all kinds of experimental shit. it is united in a central feel, and we like to insert beneficial and educational political messages from time to time. but don't worry, cuz mike is a professional political scientist and claims to know what he's talking about.
